It's not going to happen. I'm not even sure the FDA has the ability to approve anything at this point. I have been wondering if we should get whatever is available at this point.

I asked my medical professional husband that very question. He said the current supply has dwindled and it may be difficult to come by. I haven't tried to validate his claims (as I usually do, it's his pet peeve about me.)

The pharmacists at my Kroger said they have the old one but they didn’t recommend getting it because if the new one DOES become available, then you can’t get it for 6 weeks or something

I guess it comes down to how likely we think it is that the new one will ever become available and is something better than nothing. I hate this so much. We had a process. It worked. Updated shots were rolling out every September. Like everything else, they have destroyed it.
