Fountain pen sky, I’ll be travelling soon, with stops in Zurich, and Milan, and Florence. Are there any obligatory look-ins? (They won't be 'obligatory' anyway, cos I'm not traveling alone.)

Zurich has the Landolt Arbenz pen shop. Most Swiss shops just stock Lamy, Caran d’Ache, Kaweco, Pelikan, Count Graf von Faber, maybe Waterman. But I bought Sailor ink there so my memory is they had Japanese pens too. Montblanc have their own shops. https://landolt-arbenz.ch/en/home

Most big dept. stores have statiknery sections which usually have more than just budget pens. Manor, Globus, Pfauen, for eg
