According to 2 weather apps there is currently a 0% chance of rain all day in Edinburgh. Which makes the water falling from the sky rather confusing

Ask Scottish people around you if they consider it to be "rain". The answer is probably no.

So funny. I was walking my dog today in Arkansas and got caught out in the rain … on Edinburgh Rd. What are the chances of me seeing this post and that happening? Slim but true.

I understand your confusion, but if you can see the actual pavement/ground and you're not standing in water/puddles then you're in a mist or fog. It's a Scottish thing 🤔😉😄

I got so annoyed with the weather forecasts showing rain every hour when the % chance was low and in fact it never rained all day I bought the domain optimitsticweather.com that would give you a verbal description for the day but with a positive slant. It was only later I realised I’d spelt it wrong
