There go my yarn orders. We told y’all he was gonna be worse than his first term, if elected.

We were underselling it when we said it was going to be worse. The catastrophic damage has yet to really rear its head. But white people, living under the protection they know from the baked into the system privilege, failed the assignment. It was an open book test but they failed to read P2025.
I was talking about this last week As a soccer fan who has to buy directly from the team store most of the time, I'm totally screwed
I'm honestly more worried about my diabetes supplies. Not all of them are made here in the states.
Oh, for sure!!!!
I’m not sure a lot of Americans understand how this is going to affect them and their pocketbooks. From life and health sustaining medications and treatments down to the most “trivial” items.
I mean I also think about little stuff too like electric toothbrush, replacement heads. A lot of abled folks don't realize that that was a disability item to start. There's lots of little things like that. Straws.
Exactly!
Maybe we should start a list of stuff that people might not realize. Blood glucose test Hairnets and hairpins Kn95 masks CPAP nose pads Straws Plastic silverware About half the produce we get comes out of other countries too
I know, this sucks big time!
Pet food is gonna skyrocket too!
Ev-er-y-thing
Yup! (fyi, if you can use a bunch of dark brown 100% wool, I think I have maybe 6 skeins of them I’d be happy to gift!) p.s. The sheep people sell yarn at the farmer’s mkt here, but I’ve always been too terrified to ask the price. ‘Will inquire next time I see them, tho.
I can’t use wool. I’m allergic.
The Canadian dyers I sometimes order from are spending more time trying to figure this crap out than creating at this point. One woman made a point to get orders shipped before this hit & is not taking anymore US orders until they get clarification on shit. Another one has said she’ll have to absorb
the tariff cost if her yarn isn’t exempt(there seems to be so much confusion around this, her yarn is made in Canada so she thinks it should be ok). I have a preorder with her, but I feel bad that she would take on the tariff cost
A baking supply company from Canada I regularly order from has stopped all shipping to the US because every American order would be slapped with an 80-200 dollar tariff fee.
This is insanity.
This is what the fools voted for.
