A majority of PS5 games are playable offline with no connection required. Game Key Cards are 100% worthless unless you connect to the Internet and download the game (it's a resellable, reusable download code in a plastic case essentially). I don't own an xbox, so can't comment
Huh. I thought most games had to have some internet connection to at least download the license file.
Most PS games have the full game on the disk. Some of those games do have a day 1 patch but are still playable. Internet is not required to play off the disc. Xbox, is not like this for the most part especially their first party games.
In general, almost 75% of games are playable without any online connection, or need for download. Somehow this keeps bring brought up as "games are all just keycards" which are BS.
