I believe the JP Switch physical will have English. It was announced a little earlier, and I don't believe there's bwen any change. Their MIGHT be an "Asia" release coming too, but only the JP physicals have been shown (no POs yet)

I am assuming that you can play the Switch 1 version on S2 w/out purchasing the upgrade, so most ppl would skip that. I am more talking about their sales metrics, since they are going to stop printing S1 carts eventually, they are going to want to know why S2 carts aren't selling...
It's because they have to know ppl will opt for the Switch 1 version instead (if they don't have any other options like PS5) since you are actually getting the physical game on yhe cartridge.
The game being a Game Key Card was just embarrassing, this is just insulting.

A majority of PS5 games are playable offline with no connection required. Game Key Cards are 100% worthless unless you connect to the Internet and download the game (it's a resellable, reusable download code in a plastic case essentially). I don't own an xbox, so can't comment

I honestly think this is going to drive away 3rd party games in the long run. Yes the console sold incredibly well, but fake physical cartridges just cannot be selling well based on the data we've seen
