Agreed. Transphobia is utterly rampant in the judiciary, police and the legal profession. It's a major factor in my decision to leave the country. I've never been more anxious about the prospect of having to deal with any situation where I'm a victim of, or accused of crime.
We’re lucky, we can look after ourselves but not everyone else can. That’s why we remain a full-time pain-in-the-arse for the police, CPS and judicial system who together, don’t give a flying fuck about LGBTQ. But *some* judges do care, so it’s a case of keep fighting and hope they pick up our cases
