It's true of all Republican administrations. Democrats always clean up the mess and leave a good economy for the next Republican disaster. The exception was Carter but he made up for it.

Yep. Republican Presidents were at the wheel for five of the past five recessions (going back to Reagan), and ten of the past eleven (back to Eisenhower).
