Here's a little insight into Republican "thought." My Republican aunt was railing about how Michelle was forcing salad on our youth. My young niece was in the conversation and observed that the salad bar always ran out. It was a real Woody Allen moment.
We became an authoritarian state the day DOGE started eviscerating the government and Congress did nothing. SCOTUS abandoning reason and giving the authoritarian more authority sealed the deal. When you lose one leg of a three-legged stool, democracy was dead. Losing SCOTUS sealed the deal.

The OP thesis is that Bluesky will radicalize progressives. I've seen no evidence of that here. Twitter is a different animal created in a different time with a different user. Twitter itself was radicalized by Musk. Bluesky is a kinder, gentler place with better moderation.

IMO the problem with your thesis is that progressives (democrats, liberals...) are fundamentally different from Republicans. We possess the gene for empathy and are capable of critical thought. I see very little radicalization here. Zealots, bots, trolls, etc. exist but they seem inconsequential.
