i’m the only person i know that has never enjoyed his films. not knocking it! i’m sure they mean a ton to a ton of folx…they just always strike me as being quirky masquerading as profound.

Everyone is of course entitled to enjoy or not enjoy whatever they want. But I don't think all of his films are necessarily trying to be profound. Just quirky. Which is, apparently, what I love. In the same way that some people like watching reality TV. I simply enjoy WA films uncritically.
