The only conclusion I can come to is that a completely incompetent Cabinet, NatSec and Trump achieved nothing, because they are idiots. And this was all pushed forward to distract from Epstein.

They’re all yes men. And Trump is so vulnerable to ego stroking, he assumes everyone (eg Putin) is like him, and is caught flat footed when that isn’t the case
