Fun times Judge can’t even take the verbal word of the DOJ at face value. Has to ask tor everything to have written documentation. At what point of you are DOJ lawyer so you not say.

I’m looking forward to Drew Ensign’s post DOJ career where judges ask him if he understands their rulings and orders all the time.

at this point every lawyer has to either be gleefully proud of being a baddie, not care about it as long as they're paid or is sticking around to gum up the works.

The problem is that the DoJ knows they're the baddies, but our Judges and Justices still have to treat them with deference, they can't call a spade a spade. I think the DoJ knows they're the baddies, I don't think they'd even question it.
