I’d add. There is one and only one person whose response to COVID was batshit insane and indefensible (Warp Speed or whatever, he can have credit but wasn’t ‘responsible’), and that is Trump. None of what these people are saying even begins to deal with this fact.
What still gets me is that in the waves of the virus, we were losing as many people PER DAY as we lost on 9/11. For weeks at a time. And now our entire focus is talking about how we overreacted somehow, even though the US had one of the worst death rates in the world.
