Funnily enough, the one time I saw him the weather was absolutely wild too, thunder and lightning and rain which we had to walk in back to accommodation afterwards. Also he had a minor heart attack on stage, so overall it was a memorable night but for all the wrong reasons. He was def a trooper!
Was that the very last concert, or had he had a heart attack before that one? I don’t remember.
No I don't think it was the last one; honestly I wasn't a fan so I didn't pay much attention beyond wondering what was wrong with him and then discovering afterwards that it was heart trouble. He looked quite unwell and had to sit on a stool for a bit before ending early.
I just looked it up. I had forgotten that he actually carried on for a few shows after the heart attack. Even in the terrible weather, I still had a great time. It was such a good concert
