Hate to say it, you may have to emigrate to save your life. Places with public healthcare don't care about pre-existing conditions. It's different to navigate, but outcomes are better.

I'm 74. My kidneys were destroyed by IgA nephropathy. My overall health is excellent. Fact is, I'm too old to just pack it all up and move to another country. My life and everyone and everything I love is right here. ☮️

Can you name a single country with a national public health system that is open to accepting an immigrant who had an organ transplant? Pre-existing medical conditions, even ones well managed and less impactful than being an organ recipient, are usually dealbreakers for immigration.

Public health care systems don't care at all in my country (they're provincial fyi). It will be the immigration that is difficult. Easier if one is an economic immigrant (coming to a job or has business), hard if one is immigrating "just because".

Never lie to them but don't volunteer what you don't have to. Health insurance (public or private) usually have waiting periods, be prepared for that. Even if it looks easy, I'm sure it isn't. And look details up yourself because internet comments are worth what you pay for them.

I've looked into *many* countries that have national health systems and I haven't found one yet where it's feasible to immigrate with a significant health condition or disability. I'm sure there are some circumstances (like being an investor immigrant worth millions) but it's nearly impossible

I sympathize, and immigration for healthcare is never a winner, so that's why it has to be about something else. Just don't talk about your health to immigration unless they ask.

Once you're here it won't matter (as long as you never lied). But if you've done your best research and it's really a pipe dream, then that's it. I wish you success, whatever your options are.
