At some point the SCOTUS GOP-appointed majority will just go along with Trump to avoid any showdown that reveals Trump can just ignore their rulings. I think that if they really care about judicial independence, they'll just decline to hear the case. I doubt that will happen.

Most of the R&D happens in the US because that's where most of the funding is. Change that.
That is a difficult short term project, since the US is the largest trading partner for each of them. It would be better to set up a partnership that funds emerging and defence technologies, so that the US does not have a stranglehold via things like ITAR.

Well Canada has reasonable access to most guns, but it isn't a right and we lack the social agreement that guns are a good solution to unpleasant social interactions and societal problems. They're for hunting and pest control on farms, and not much else.

What's amazing is that Trump is both the most dishonest and the most honest politician. Dishonest because he lies even when the truth would help him.
