there isn’t much left for them to do besides blatantly steal the next election. As far as enacting their will with impunity- we’re already there. They are just smartly doing it incrementally to not shock even their supporters, but 4 years at this pace and this country will be unrecognizable.

Oh don’t get me wrong, I do believe we could potentially turn things around still, but we arent “going toward” fascism, or bracing ourselves for a coup, etc. we are basically already through that door, and we need to find a way back out.
Seems to me the way out is simply following the constitution. A civil rights bill wouldn't have been needed if they only followed the constitution. These idiots hate anything left of Reagan and they justify destroying the republic in order to stay in power. We all know our problem.
