Everybody acting like he's 2.
Everybody acting like he's 2.
If he's autistic, it would not be unusual for him to exhibit behavior much like that of a two-year-old.
How the hell did he get on the tracks?
Bit of a metaphor America...
The monorail track is wider than the kid. Just needed powering down. Frightening. No. Bad parenting? Perhaps. But Cirque de Soleil might wanna talk to him in 15-20 years.
Huge kudos to the two awesome men who jumped up there to help the boy.
Thank God, he's SAFE, but how & why did he get up there in the first place?
So a drowning last month, and now this.
Thank God for the rescuer. My question, how did the kid get up there to start with and where the Fvk are his parents?
And then a hero comes along 🙂
How the hell did he get up there?
no one is saying JUMP can't believe this is real
Failed parenting that he is up there in the first place.
that's such a pathetic take. Kids are curious, kids are adventurous. Turn your back for a second for any number of reasons and boom, it can happen. You are cruel and lack empathy.
It cannot be that easy to get onto a monorail track or it would happen all the time.
Sure, you know everything! This was absolutely a parent failure and no other alternative should be considered, Sue.
Yes Cole that was exactly what I was saying 🙄
Yea, we know. "Failed parenting that he is up there in the first place" is a statement you made.
Correct
I have four boys. They are curious, naive, and full of energy. All it takes is stopping to pick up a pacifier or having another child trip and fall. Before kids I laughed at those who used “leashes” on their kid in public. After four boys, I get it.
I remember being at the store and seeing a young pregnant couple with a toddler. I turned around, and the kid was by himself in a cart. They flew back to him so fast LOL. Didn't look like bad parents. Just a hiccup.
That makes literally no sense. I remember being 9 and I was the most adventurous and curious kid in pretty much any group. At 9, I was also capable of recognizing if something is dangerous. ESPECIALLY if it’s something like that. If your kids are doing things like this…it’s not “curiosity”
That kid is not 9. He looks 5 or 6.
In a New York minute, everything can change. It’s insane how fast they can get into trouble.
Heroes still exist! Way to go folks.
😳
How the fuck did this happen?
Someone just drowned there in July. Maybe they need a safety review?
Where were his parents? How did anyone let him get up there
Son of friends boarded a plane with another family; friends frantically looking for him, gate staff refused to let father on board to look. When father did finally get aboard, his son was sitting calmy enjoying a Sprite with the other family.
Oh my god. If the kid was just left alone he’d be fine.
Idiots. You can see he's disoriented by the noise.
I'm glad he's safe.
Where are his parents or guardians?
How did he get on there? Where are his parents?
It's good the kid is safe
🎶 Hershey Park happy! 🎶 🎶 Hershey Park glad! 🎶 🎶 So many things to see and do!🎶 🎶 good times to be had! 🎶

they see the danger that he does not and hope to save him
📌
hey @damnzzelle.bsky.social did you see this?
Holy crap! Didn’t even hear about it! That ride was closed yesterday - wonder if this happened in spite of it being closed or it closed as a result.
The fact it happened right by the Minty Bees lol
I really don't think he was safe that high up and not being familiar with who the child is or his reason for being up there, I am thankful those men took it upon themselves to save.
Looks like something my grandson would do. He says he's 75% reading and 25% violence he was 8 when he said that
What a character! Lol
He is and way to smart for his own good
If I saw that young boy up there, I would have fainted dead away.
Panic...always helpful in a crisis
Dude practicing to be a rigger, walk steel like a man, and all people do is shout at him. Pitiful.
Aww. It's every parents nightmare.
Idk, I may have freaked a little…
Hmmm, great parenting for someone.
Is this the same Hershey Park where a young girl drowned in July? 😧
That was ruled an accidental drowning. www.wgal.com/article/hers...
Obviously this child should never be left unsupervised and how the hell did he get on the monorail?!? That should never be able to happen either!!!
people asking how he got up there, have they never ridden a monorail before? there's a station platform, and you can just walk from the platform onto the track. maybe there's a railing he had to duck under or climb over. not hard to figure out how he got up there. he didn't fly up there 🤪
yep its Trumps fault!
😂 The kid’s cooler than everyone yelling at him unshaken while the adults are losing it.
I have questions.
I can totally see one of my boys having done this when they were little. I’m glad he’s okay.
Question: How the HELL did he get up there and where are his parents
Exactly!!!
💯💯💯💯💯
Fucking Christ we seriously have some of the stupidest people imaginable living in this part of the country. I would know because I live around here.
Yep. When I was that age we were playing on real railroad tracks.
Seems like he may be autistic.
Agreed. The way he responded in putting up his hands to his head/ears is very typical. They can so easily slip away in a heartbeat. I'm sure his parents were frantic. They are that fast, even at home. Personal experience and complete understanding here. So thankful for the happy ending.
sorry for my comment but: Look Trump all the criminals doing something you will never do. all this people should get the peaceful price i nominate the hero’s who save this boy and renounce Trump from ever getting one, he’s a child rapist and a Terrorist traitors to the USA.
Oh, my.....
Love how all the parents justifying and even excusing the behavior of this kid.
Enough parents have experience with autistic children of varying degrees to recognize familiar signs & traits (hands up to head, unusual gait, etc) & to have an understanding of the tenuous situation. It would appear you don't have that experience or you wouldn't be so critical of their empathy.
He covered his ears, like a child with autism might do. After having three children, I’ve learned NOT to judge without all the facts.
If only grown-ass adults would react the same way to mass shootings.
?? You mean shouting: Stop shooting. No, no, keep on shooting?
Meaning, people should be this upset by mass shootings. Thoughts and prayers are not enough.
Christopher may have forgotten that we saw stand by me….the kid probably did not.
He seemed frightened once rescued. Did anyone make sure dad didn't beat his little butt??!!
It was a scary situation. What I want is info about the guy who immediately sprang into action, climbed the building like Spider-Man and saved that baby. He’s a real life hero in my book. That autistic baby was just about to have a meltdown and that would not have ended well. Talk about nick of time
Two guys!
Though one got there first, and it was amazing how he got right up on that track. It was great to see both of the men up there, though.
The fuck es he even doing to there? Look, being a "content creator" isn't worth this shit, especially when you're physically untrained. Even if this was simply for attention, it's still batshit.
Wow
My first career was as an amusement park employee. Adults, as a collective, are fucking dumb. Individually, they are rational.
youtube.com/shorts/CZ8Yd...
People would have really freaked out had they seen me sitting on the red light at the top of a 30 story construction crane.... Being a kid was awesome. Oh and we did that shit BEFORE youtube. Not for cred, for FUN!
Thank goodness that child is safe. How horribly frightening.
A child died in the wave pool weeks ago
That was ruled accidental. www.wgal.com/article/hers...
I can’t look
How the heck he get up there? What the hell?!
What is it about kids and railroad tracks?
I would guess he’s autistic.
Parents?
Oh! I don't know if the boy was scared, but I sure was! I'm so glad he's ok and good for that man who got up there to save him.
So many questions. Thank goodness for the people who climbed up to rescue him💕
