This was a good Game Awards.
This was a good Game Awards.
If that is defined by the trailers, then yes. As an awards show though? Not so sure
yeah, that is why all chats on all streams spammed L during GOTY. Cuz it was good.
To be fair it's a massive coin toss if those L's are actual L's or just L's for the meme of hating the game awards. Award shows are usually ass, but hating something because it's an award show isn't all that good.
While award shows are inherently subjective, the disconnect between game journalism and player sentiment is evident. "Astro Bot" winning GOTY is not an L - the whole show is. The disappointment was Geoff’s failure to truly celebrate gamedev. What were the innovations in accessibility?
Why the jury (of arguable qualification) thought Prince of Persia is the winner? A tiny segment on Indie Debut Games - Manor Lords has a very inspiring story, for example. These are the kinds of moments that should define an award show celebrating the industry... Lets check out THIS "World Premier"
Too long and I can do without the music performances and all that non video games stuff, but that aside yes.
Yeah but like no gta 6 😔
I think so!
What's Final Fantasy gotta do to be even be considered 😫
Not be a sequel to a remake of a game that came out over 20 years ago, dlc and remakes should be their own categories, they aren't their own games
Hardly a remake, it's plot is very different to the one that came out 20 years ago, not the mention the gameplay. Only things the same are the characters. Also the sequel adds way more than we've seen. And Astrobot is also a sequel, came out first 11 years ago.
Genuinely. Astro Bot and Amir Satvat? It was a good time!
Good no bad maybe not ugly more or less
So many great announcements and wonderful surprises! A one for the books for sure! Let’s go Witcher IV! And OKAMI!??? and Kingsroad!? And ELDEN RING!!?? Absolute fire. 🔥
Fantastic time. Remember when it opened with The Witcher 4? Jesus.
