It’s a testament to the subjective subjectiveness of game design that a game with THIS many problems and THIS level of incompleteness is also actually one of the best stealth games of all time.

You ever have a PC problem and actually somehow find a Reddit thread where one single comment has solved the issue and everyone is praising that person but one of the steps outlined mentions something that does not show up for you and it isn’t at all clear why.
This isn’t the point of this post but I will say we’re running critically low on “I know a guy” guys which is making it really hard to get a good deal on a trustworthy handyman or car mechanic these days, which your parents had in spades.

What's funny is there actually is wisdom to launching against a big game. Everyone else gets out of the way, so you need to juice the numbers way less to also appear on the Steam frontpage that day. An aquarium game rode Starfield's coattails to success that way.

I suspect what you're going to get today are a lot of two-week to a month delays from indie games you had not necessarily heard of to use moving out of the way of Silksong as a way to get news stories written about them. I don't think that's the case here, but I have definitely seen a few already.
My read is they want to delay for Switch 2 but need a more palatable reason for other platform users, so they're just saying Silksong. That's not a decision you make in the last 24 hours.
