Dragon Age Origins was disappointing (after after the Baldurs Gate and Neverwinter nights Games)

Yup, and I keep buying them…

Talked to a friend about how Veilguard was "only good, but not great" and I was kind of like "...yeah, do you know what series you're playing?" It's kind of always been the series of not reaching its potential (and I like all of them)

Facts

As someone who didn't play any of the games, I think this is objectively the majority opinion in that fan base. They may like other ones in the series but that one was the "good" one.
