If your farms can only exist by exploiting cheap labour, that is an unfair subsidy. There should be trade consequences for this.

my fellow Canadian, we kind of do this too. Only we have a program for it, called the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program (SAWP) for TFWs. 🫤 Granted there are regulations for wages, working and living conditions, etc but how many farms are on compliance? Hence the drive to unionize here.
