1/2 Have to agree. Their use makes DEM messaging seem elitist, pedantic & inaccessible to the voting public. Elections are about votes which means appealing to voters. Most of these are simply euphemisms. Others suggest coddling of sensitive college kids.
2/2 Any substantive position can be maintained without them. Objectional rhetoric from the right doesn’t change this reality.

Yes you’re right but we now have a situation where politicians lie and then get into office and do immense damage. This last election people didn’t vote for immigrants to be put in camps or sent to gulags, their healthcare to be unaffordable or SS to be cut, troops in the streets, etc
let me hold your hand while I say this, but people absolutely voted for that I spent 2024 talking to 1000s of voters, and let me say say that MANY voted for exactly what’s happening it’s deeply uncomfortable to deal with, but we’re not gonna get through this with “nobody voted for this“ denialism
