You’re in spring, right? So still indoors a lot, heating making the indoor air dry, people cramped in together, respiratory infection season. I think covid having summer and winter peaks means we all have to expect respiratory infections will be year round now, but they will always suck.

I still mask in public, but ironically my elderly parents don’t, so they’re the ones who bring ick home. I really wish the pandemic had led to full scale upgrades of indoor air quality and filtering all over the world. It did after the flu pandemic of 1919! We got hot radiators and windows to open.

Also tiled bathrooms to make cleaning and disinfecting them easier. I get twitchy when I see rough stone walls in modern bathrooms.
