If he just told us what was going on there would be so much less interest in it. That's the funniest part, he draws attention to it by trying to hide it.

So true. We're left to wonder, "If it's no big deal, why the (hideously bad) effort to hide it? And stop with the too-much-handshaking BS."

His niece Dr. Mary Trump said that he believes illness is a weakness and that every time he is sick or infirm he believes the only way to address it is to deny it and hide it. That's also why he doesn't like seeing disabled soldiers--he thinks they make him look bad.
