So far, the National Guard in DC seem to be mostly taking photos with tourists. What a colossal waste of human resources and money.

So many of “Trump’s Force” just parked together, standing around, and posing for pictures with tourists. Why aren’t they individually patrolling the “high crime” areas in DC? #TheTrumpShow

Well to be fair, the entire thing is a PR stunt. So if they're out there meeting & greeting, it kinda falls under that umbrella. It's not like they have much else to do sitting there on the mall.
