Social Security’s chief data officer, Charles Borges, submitted a whistle-blower complaint this week detailing how DOGE uploaded the confidential personal information of hundreds of millions of Americans to an insecure cloud server (NYT story below). Today Borges resigned, citing his persecution.
This crime at Social Security might amount to the biggest data theft in human history. Committed by a government against its own citizens. I don’t think anyone has begun to grasp the sheer scale of corruption and institutional destruction that has occurred in the last few months. Era-defining.

Either way, the sole purpose of the video for Russia is propaganda. It speaks volumes about the output of the Alaska summit that they would (and could) use these visuals. On the issue of AI or not, I would defer to @shayan86.bsky.social who is an expert at verifying this kind of footage.

Quick update on this: Miraculously, Motasem A Dalloul and his children survived the rocket attack on his apartment, they are now seeking shelter in the streets. However, six other women and children were killed in the double strike attack by Israeli forces.
