Good. He served well for many years, but we really need the Democrat gerontocracy to move on. I’m glad he’s not going to waste anyone’s time, energy or money on a primary fight.

The problem with middle-aged and older representative, leaving politics, it might increase the feeling of alienation by the older population. If they feel there are no representatives that truly understand their needs.
