well, it sounds to me like your decision was reasonable and you weren't doing it bc schools are "too woke" or for internet fame. so i don't think you should feel defensive bc it wasn't about you! 🙂

I wasn't particularly. But I appreciate the validation. I spoke up because I figured other people were like me but might be afraid to because of how hostile everyone was being. And for good reason. Like I said I get it but I don't really like that kind of mob mentality. Or that's how I saw it
