Agreed. I'm currently listening to Dungon Crawler Carl, read by Jeff Hays, and it is the most fun I've had in years. I thought there were 4 different readers but it is just one guy! Incredible. Also, a perfect use of editing sound effects into the reading. I highly recommend this series.

eh. if its done well i'm fine with it. they got the cast of Good Omens to do the new audiobook for it and it was good. or to a lesser extent, they got Chris Berrie to do the first two red dwarf audiobooks and his impressions of his fellow actors were so perfect it might as well have been full cast

No doubt. I have no interest in Harry Potter in any context, but this "star studded audiobook" phenomenon sucks and I hate it.
