Absolutely not. We cannot trust the US. I cannot stress this enough. The US is an unreliable partner and can no longer be trusted to act in a trustworthy manner.

I really REALLY don’t want to spend a single dime in the US. That said, there are considerations like training, maintenance, compatibility, etc that are invisible to Canadians, but major considerations for $$ and operational functioning. I trust our Chief of Defense to make the best call.

The RCMP seems quite complacent with governments not providing records that they are required under law to maintain. See the latest on Doug Ford. It’s alarming that one cannot have faith in our RCMP to protect Canadian interests. As well as watching Two Suitcases and the handling of evidence.
