I don't disagree but we've all known it was him that was accused for years and Arsenal were happy to keep him. How strange he went at the very stage he was arrested.

I think from a legal perspective the second you, as an organisation, start punishing players/anyone for alleged crimes you put yourself in a very very dangerous position and you're going to get sued. Our countries legal system sucks. This should have been dealt with years ago.

I do agree that the investigation should have been much quicker. Maybe we will find out why it took so long when it goes to court

It's perfectly legal to suspend someone (as in send them home) pending an investigation. You wouldn't allow someone in your premises if they were being investigated for say fraud and I assume females are employed at Arsenal but they allowed him on their premises.
