I recently had one of those DNA tests done. And despite being born and bred well south of the border, I'm 0% English. Not a drop. 50% Celtic, 37% Viking (which tracks in Norfolk), 5% Italian - it was a mouth swab, so might just have been my lunch - and some odds and ends like Baltic. Reassuring.
