It's kind of wild how this needs to be said for not only the media, but a lot of people on social media. There are a lot of reasons we've had an education split in our voting and some of it has to do with not tailoring messages better to different areas.

YES! Some messages have national appeal, others do not. I’ve been pushing this for years. Candidates should be authentic to the area/region and office. Mamdani is crushing it because he is so authentically NYC.

Same! I've tried telling people in campaigns that Democrats do not benefit universally from nationalized elections, and making messages for different areas will work best. Sadly, a lot of money ppl do not believe that yet. It's why the 50-state strategy worked!
