I have a huge problem with the way UK security has been defunded to the point of demoralisation and ineffectiveness .. the fact saboteurs can so easily infiltrate an RAF base and disable two refuelling aircraft is a prime example. Russia's 'useful idiots' celebrating it is just icing on the cake

Not really "foreign" since the UK is a key logistical, intel and financial supporter of Israel, and not really a "war" when carried out against stateless civilians living under foreign military occupation. Other than that, great post 👍

It's a war between Iran (using it's proxy in Palestine) and Israel. Last time I looked at a map, neither of those countries were the UK, or even in Europe .. which is pretty much the definition of foreign countries and far away.

Palestine isn't an Iranian proxy, and even if it was it isn't a state, and even if it was Israel isn't waging war against it, it is shooting and starving civilians en masse.

Israel does not claim to be in a state of war with Palestine, since that would require them to do things such as follow the Geneva conventions and other Rules of War. Israel doesnt want to implicitly recognise Palestine as a state, so is very careful to not use the term "war" to describe its actions

Y'see it's much harder to defend what is Israel is doing to Palestine, which is the most blatant and gruesome, instance of genocide since Rwanda, so in order to excuse Israel's behaviour (as well as justify authoritarian police state tactics) he's lying and saying it's Iran that Israel is fighting.

Ironically, these are all rhetorical and ideological disinformation techniques that Putin's government in Russia routintely uses to crush domestic dissent over it's foreign policy, now being imported into the UK by people like this, who clearly see something admirable in Putin to copy his techniques
