Hi Tim… I agree with this but I’m curious as why lots of people are caveating their posts with “Colbert will be alright”? Presumably it also sucks to have your dream job taken away to appease a dictator.

I think career wise he'll be fine - he's incredibly talented, it must be a mental nightmare to run through the reasons they cut the show though.

Sure but like… why do we need to say that? It just feels lacking in compassion despite him being a figure of admiration.
