i mean a simple coup would probably be less violent than another american civil war, the bar is really high on that one

4.4 million people voted for Greg Abbott. I don't know that violently deposing him is going to end in a single night of violence, no matter how clever your methods of treason against the current government of Texas and its place within the constitutional order. They will probably take issue.
war's still worse lol
My point is I don't expect you will violently overthrow a local democratic majority without a war. You could no more occupy Texas than we occupied Afghanistan.
afghans are infinitely tougher than texans, most of rural texas would roll over like a beat dog after a week of not getting their treatos
americans are soft, you could take over texas in two months if you stopped shipping beer and ice cream into the state. and besides, that's why you build a revolutionary proletarian vangard, then the people organize themselves and do not tactly support the holdouts in the hills
Well, I won't stand in your way if you want to train a militia to firebomb that particular Walmart, but I'm going to hope we can find more peaceful alternatives while you rally the troops.
firebombing walmart is adventureism and that's bad, it'd be a waste of effort and could make the vanguard look bad to the people. there's much better things for them to do, like running soup kitchens and organizing book clubs
I'll certainly agree with that, if very little else.
