Discussed something similar w spouse last night. She is adamant that one of the most important things she pays people to do in her business is answer the phone. No AI, no “push 2 for” menus, no outsourcing. You call and (1) a person (2) at that business (3) answers by the 3d ring 8-6/M-F.
My town invested in fiber-optic internet back in the 90s & by far the biggest selling point of the isp is that they have a room full of techs that you can call 24/7 if something goes wrong.
I love it when a person answers the phone. Believe it or not Big Business, but it always saves me a ton of time.
