When I was younger I was taught that truly rich people think it’s gaudy to flaunt their wealth. He tries so hard to appear rich that it comes off as very insecure and desperate.

the poshest and richest person I know (so posh he's directly related to royalty) lives in a raggy green jumper and his house is a bit of a mess: could do with new carpets/furniture/painting etc. This house is on an estate where his parents still live in the stately home...

I always think back to that episode of Celebrity Wife Swap where they had Ric Flair and Roddy Piper. Both very rich guys, but Ric lived like T does, and Piper lived out in the boonies on a farm, just enjoying life like the rest of us. We should all be like Roddy Piper.
