@kevinhearne.bsky.social The carians in the seven kenning, I believe the only real deaths of them we have seen was of the tempest where he became the wind when he died. So for someone who is not blessed how would they dispose of their dead? My best guess would be cremation spread on the wind.

Ah, Kaurians! Gotcha. They practiced sky burial, which takes several forms around the world. They’re into birds. There’s a pretty decent article about sky burial on Atlas Obscura online.
