they should invent larger little free libraries
they should invent larger little free libraries
Mine has two sections because everything in life fits in them: Eff Around, and Find Out. Example: Eff Around - "Growing a Natural Yard" Find Out: "Laying Sod" and "Winning Back Your Neighbors" And YES Jerry, I'm talking about YOU!
I'm not just a member, I'm also an overdue fine gatherer.
Seems like overkill after inventing little public libraries...
Car elevators, but for books
Jerry... Nevermind, hear me out. Supersized Little Free Libraries With all kinds of resources.
Huge ones. Gigantic ones. You should be able to walk into an Amazon warehouse and back out with whatever you want, no charge
Just pointing out that being a librarian requires a master's degree
they should be like, one wall per building every other block
larger free libraries should be designed to prevent squirrels from getting into them, looking for bird seed.
Those are just libraries Jerry.
big free libraries if you will
I actually love how the Philly public library is called the Free Library of Philadelphia. Not everyone knows that public libraries are free of charge to use! It's good to be super clear and inviting!
I know right? Just so hard to squish all my big pictures books in them.
Can they still be held aloft by a pole?
one must imagine larger free little libraries held aloft by poles
Ooops, I got confused and now it’s a BabaYaga house
I read this as: they should invent larger little fries
i think we gotta renew your glasses prescription
Thing is, I agreed with what I misread. I was like, “tell em, Jerry.”
*nods knowingly* large fried potate columns
yet little
Big little fry lies
Same at first 😭
Little library treehouse!
They did. It's called the public library.
They have. They are actual libraries
But then it would have to include books that some people want banned.
funny story; i live in TINY town USA & next to my house is a library with a little free library in front of it & when we first drove down the road it’s on my husband pointed to the little one & said “there’s the library & honestly you could not tell the difference between it & the real one behind it
those are called a “library”. most people don’t know this.
Ahhh the mobile library. I remember those when I lived in a small village in England as a child. Back then they were more like a big van with a door at the back. We also had the mobile fruit & veg man and the mobile shop. Even 'the milkman' with his electric milk 'float' is rare these days in the UK
Lovely. Even better than our old red phone boxes becoming little libraries in the UK. 🤗 This is a story from 2023 but we have many others. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-engl...
A great Librasseum, where free books fight to the death! In order to win their freedom, to start little free libraries of their own.
that’s just a bus jerry. you’re talking about a bus.
Instructions unclear. Created bus library on blocks in front yard.
RIF - you remember?
Medium free libraries
I love it when food trucks go brick and mortar. Weird how books have never caught up!
larger, oh I thought it said lager!
little free library the size of a large free library
this is very good ty
Weird no one has ever thought of doing that.
Big paid libraries? Have you ever been to Barnes and Noble
Oh man. How bad would it be if I got an ice cream truck and played the jingle, but all I had in there was a free little library...?
Kind of like a Bookmobile concept... no, wait... sounds vaguely familiar
Medium free libraries?
like a grande free library w/ soy
Like some sort of structure you could walk around inside of?
This will be the greatest innovation since Little Bites made Biggie versions of their muffins.
Go all out. medium free library, large free library, XL free library. Tailgate parties for books for the more sociable.
maybe the size of a small bus?
size of a building
🤯
I’m not quite sure how to break this wonderful news to you, Jerry…
Like a medium cheap library?
little big ones!
Huge and exclusive, Jerry, just for me.
like building sized? they could just call them libraries, maybe? i'm just spitballing here. dunno if it's viable
I think you are onto something here... maybe there could also be like, a system in place so you can monitor which books are in the library at any given time, so people check if there is a book they wanna read available. That would be cool
Like a giant Babybel, only full of books?
... big enough to stock large print books for those who forget their sunglasses
