What about Newsom in California? He’s selfish enough to do whatever it takes to get on the dem’s 2028 ticket. Also big enough to cancel out Texas. Does their state constitution prohibit it?

i read an article that said california COULD do it, but it would take some wrangling and a vote that would need to go to the people...but that it is much more likely than NYC and a few others at this point

Yes, needs to get on the ballot in Nov but the legislature is in support and Dems have supermajority. Legislature needs to pass by Aug 22 to get on the Nov ballot. Stay tuned.
