first day of school, and the parents & kids just walked by on their way to the bus stop. i’m so glad it’s 55°F b/c the first day of school _should_ feel like autumn also, the parents were all chattering and laughing louder than the kids 🤭

we lucked out and got a strong early season cold front. daytime low to high 70’s and 50’s at night for next 14 days i slept the whole night last night—fist time since the beginning of june i think (i had windows open & there was no AC cycling on off all night in the laundry room next to my room)
