the battery acid level, solved by adding distilled water, was sth i always dealt w/in FL, but didn’t expect here. that said, june/july were HOT. the precipitously low oil was that i got busy & straight up forgot for first time ever to check/get my oil changed just need to get 1 more yr out of her

my car is 2009 & has a computer that is light-years behind cars even 5 yrs younger, but she _will_ “absolutely not” me & just refuse to turn on when she’s feeling poorly, & i am soooo grateful for that my mom’s 2015 van will shout & blink if there’s even a 1 lb less of tire pressure than it wants

Uggghh thank you for the reminder! I’ve also not taken my elderly lady in and she’s showing signs she needs it! Silly garage switched away from stickers? So now idk when she needs attention lol.

and you’ve got some crazy heat coming, so def check the battery acid (which oil change mechanics don’t check)! it always looks like there’s full water in those little vestibules, but it’s an optical illusion and then you find you need a full _cup_ of distilled water in there
