Will Major League Baseball say anything about the Trump regime attempting to purge Jackie Robinson from history? Will it still allow itself and its ballparks to be used as a propaganda forum for the military as it has for so long?

No and yes
Think we're less than five months away from MLB turning Aug. 10 into DEI Rejection Day, when Cap Anson's image will be celebrated at every MLB game to mark the anniversary of his refusal to play against Moses Fleetwood Walker in 1883.
Do you remember when a guy called Dale Petrosky, ex Reagan WH Republican insider, was running the HoF, and he cancelled a Susan Sarandon Cooperstown appearance over Iraq and W? Big uproar? And then got fired for financial irregularities Seems an omen (he was my first boss in DC at Nat Geo)
Oh man, yeah, I remember that whole deal.
Inevitably some player will try to claim #42. MLB probably won't push back.
Going to go with “no” to both.
More than ever I'm grateful I dumped MLB in 2013.
Yessir
Once you remember that everyone in charge of everything we've ever loved is a fascist sympathizer at best, life gets a lot worse. They're more likely to quietly cancel Jackie Robinson day than they are to rebuke this admin, because Rob is a trumpet and so are probably all the owners
No Yes
Unfortunately, I think we all know the answer.
The nhl just got roped into a nhl/khl series that trump worked out with putin, so we have yet another sports league that has to decide if this is a thing they will just do without complaint
I'm with you, dude. I surely do hope they don't get as bad as the NFL with the military bullshit. And, unless I'm missing something, isn't it interesting that inside sports ie hockey, the NBA, don't seem to participate in this silliness as much or at all? Can't do any flyovers inside so why bother..
No and yes. Just as the rest of the corporate world. And it is not a stance limited to big honchos. Just check LinkedIn these days 🤮
If Guggenheim Baseball Management keeps quiet, they’re the ultimate cowards.
It will not
Jackie Robinson Day is one of my favorite days of baseball. The energy in Dodger Stadium is just different and hopeful. It’s gonna be a lot more meaningful this year. I hope the team rises to the occasion.
