The U.S. Supreme Court is a completely lawless body that has shredded the Constitution in order to empower a dictator. We're well beyond "how do we fix this." We're in "we need to figure out how to one day establish The Second United States Republic because the original one is defunct" territory.

This is where I'm at with the current government, what's left of it. There comes a point in any attempt to repair a system, a house, or a company where it's easier to trash it and start over from scratch rather than try and fix the mess someone else made.

We take back the house and senate. House selects a new speaker. Someone who we want to lead this country. House impeaches him and JD. The Senate changes the rules to a simple majority. They remove them. The speaker becomes president. We pack the court One for each circuit. If elections are possible

On some levels this is true, but I think the people in red and blue states are far closer on most issues than the polarized political systems and media reflect. Without gerrymandering and winner-take-all systems that favor extremism in primaries, we'd have a lot more consensus and better leaders.
