This game is gonna be completely forgotten until one day someone writes a book about early 21st century baseball and it gets a one sentence mention in a paragraph about Rob Manfred's stupidly random marketing initiatives.

Hey - let SMI and the folks in Bristol take their victory lap for this too.
Did you know that baseball and NASCAR have a lot more in common than you might think???
Both have two “A”s, for example. Which is more than you can say for Oakland. (Which also has two “a”s, but nevermind.)
This rain delay is :: chef's kiss :: for Fox to waddle through with their cast of characters.
This will be like the turn forward the clock thing
I’m going to love Jon Bois’ documentary about this game
What’s going to happen if (when?) it’s rained out? Can they play there tomorrow or is that not an option? Pissing off that many drunk people at a racecar place is not going to end well
I dunno the folks on Intentional Talk wore cowboy hats for some reason and loved the idea
Literally standing water on the infield, but the Fox announcers just said, "it looks worse on TV than it does here."
78,000 terrible seats. It's like watching a football game at the LA Coliseum before they made some reconfigurations... which was also terrible for baseball when the Dodgers played there.
I'm fascinated that so many people paid to sit that far away from the field, like what the hell can you see way up there?
There’s some spectacle in it that’s worth like $20 but no more than that.
They haven't stopped doing outdoor hockey games
I loved going to see the Islanders at MetLife (score notwithstanding)...
I’d watch a New Year’s Day baseball game in wool unis and it’s like 10 degrees out though.
