Apologies if this has already been litigated, but where are we re: whether the police horses fall under ACAB?

They cannot give consent, so no.
Kind of my thinking, too: they're probably trained to be bastards, but they didn't ask for that treatment. Same with K9s, tbh. That animal is not 'friend-shaped' at all now, but it's still an animal & doesn't deserve violence unless in self-defense.
The horses? They’re trained or sought out to be chill so they don’t freak out in crowd control situations. I drive by their barn most days and they’re hanging out eating on the lawn.
i believe that horses and dogs are made to work against their will and we should give them a pass
OTOH, you'd never convince a cat to be a cop so I think we all know what species comes out on top here.
That's partly because when they did, the cat probably got run over... en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acousti...
Police dogs are an abomination and cruel for all involved.
“All” seems like the important word here
The question every Canadian child has to reckon with.
APHAM (all police horses are marvelous)
I appreciate you are under enormous pressure to deny this fact but most horses are bastards, regardless of their employment.
My tort is: dinosaurs with glassy eyes at the behest of Neanderthals with glassy eyes are bastards.
Major settled this in Chapter One. All animals are comrades.
Heart says no, head says yes. Split jury on ACAB but it’s irrefutable that in the list of horses the police ones are the mad cunts. Like for real I’ve ridden horses that freak out at road markings but the riot horses be like “tear gas and bricks thrown at me whatever”. Hard bastards.
Checking my notes, I have: “the horses don’t but Paw Patrol does”
I’ve got my eye on those German shepherds. They seem to do it for the love of the game.
This made me laugh out loud
Coworker formerly in Students For A Democratic Society (SDS) once cheerfully told me "Black pepper. The horses hate it"
I submit that while police horses may not be cops, they are definitely jerks. Because they’re horses.
I say neigh. I’ll leave, it’s fine.
What about those cats that work at police stations?
The cats just realized that the police station is a good place to get fed in exchange for doing nothing but lounging around all day.
