If I had a nickel every time a BookTok author advertised their YA fantasy novel on aesthetics after having allegedly worked on it for 10+ years and gain tons of traction only for it to turn out to be really bad, I’d have two nickels. Yadda yadda yadda, weird that it happened twice.
