Ks isn't exactly blue by any means. It's purple in the populated areas but the state legislature is dominated by the rural red.

After Brownback the state flipped, changed some since then, opened the door for lees GOP.

I live in Kansas, and I stand by my statement. The GOP has a supermajority in the legislature, due to gerrymandering. While Johnson County, Lawrence and parts of Wichita and Topeka are blue or purple. Trump easily won KS.

Wish you weren't, but you are 100% correct. Even though the state has some blue and purple pockets, the state is still overwhelming red in both state and federal legislative branches.
